PCHE and Deakin University marked seven years of the pathway that has sent more of our graduates abroad than any other.
Seven years ago PCHE signed its first articulation agreement with Deakin University. Since then the Diploma in Early Childhood Education route into Deakin's Bachelor of Early Childhood Education has become the most travelled pathway the college offers.
What makes a partnership like this work is not the agreement itself but the maintenance of it: curriculum reviewed against Deakin's year one each cycle, assessment standards checked, and a steady line of communication between the two academic teams.
The milestone was marked with a joint event at the Colombo 07 campus attended by Deakin representatives and PCHE alumni now studying in Melbourne.
