Deakin University academics led a seminar at PCHE on screens, play and what the evidence actually says about young children and technology.
Academics from Deakin University's School of Education led a seminar at the Colombo 07 campus on early childhood education and technology: what the research supports, where the moral panic outruns the evidence, and how practitioners should think about screens in an early years setting.
Sessions delivered by partner university academics are a regular part of the PCHE year, and they serve a double purpose: the content itself, and the chance for students to meet the people who will be teaching them in year two.
